As you are no doubt aware, in one way or another, Big Tech has
increasing control of information.
This control has gotten to the point that Big Tech can, and
regularly does, for its own purposes, label the truth
"misinformation" and censors it, while at the same time
labeling misinformation the "truth" and persistently shoving
it in our faces.
Because AI can create very convincing misinformation, and very
convincing "proof" the truth is misinformation, and widely and
quickly spread it, AI can take control of information to
apocalyptic danger levels (see the
list of movies and TV
about increasingly dangerous AI on the Join page).
Now Big Tech is taking control of AI and thus taking
totalitarian control of information. For a description of how
Big Tech is taking control of AI, read the
Background of
Ayrdos AI Supercomputing Inc, a
company that is trying to commercially fight Big Tech control
of AI.
But fighting Big Tech control of AI cannot be done just on the
commercial front, it must also be fought on the political
front as well, through the federal government.
The federal government has long been aware of the big problem
of Big Tech control of information, including numerous
hearings and legal actions.
But now, when there is concern about other countries getting
ahead in AI, the federal government completely forgets the big
problem of Big Tech control of information and supports Big
Tech control of AI, which as described makes the already big
problem of Big Tech control of information
apocalyptic.
(As the past proves, the best way to empower innovation in AI
is to take it out of Big Tech's greedy innovation-killing
stranglehold and put it into the hands of small independent AI
startups, which is the premise of
Ayrdos AI Supercomputing
Inc.)
Part of the federal government's "forgetfulness" is Big Tech's
manipulation of the federal government into supporting Big
Tech control of AI.
This manipulation is actually rather clumsy because Big Tech
is completely out of touch with the real world, particularly
the electorate. Big Tech control of AI thus can be fought,
via forcing the entire federal government (the
legislative,
judicial,
and
executive
branches) to do so.
You, as an individual voter, have essentially zero influence
on the federal government. By joining together though, we can
force the federal government to also fight Big Tech control of
AI.
